  Had lunch -Grilled Fish chips and salad. Fish was average but edible, the salad consisted of some mixed lettuce leaves (like from the supermarket) with a nice dressing ( although their wasn't enough) and ONE small 1/4 of a slice of tomato - I mean-WTH? The chips were lovely though. Being rather silly I tried again a week later. Battered (supermarket quality)fish was worse battered than grilled, unfortunately the "salad" had none of the "nice"dressing but seemed to have a drizzle of oil over it making greasy and totally inedible. Once again their was ONE small 1/4 of a slice of Tomato - not a wedge a 1/4 of a SLICE - They also must have changed their supplier for the chips as they were vile. The staff are always friendly and helpful and they are the only reason that I gave them two stars.I have also tried their steak a while back (the less said about that the better - unless you have razor sharp teeth and you're a lover of ancient buffalo, which I imagine would be slightly more tender). The Bistro definitely needs to change its suppliers because something is definitely wrong. I remember the days when they had their cook Renae??? I just wish they'd get her back, she was brilliant.
